Fruta³ was business created as a response to the limited expiry date of fruit, producing unnecessary waste that could otherwise be profitable. Using ripen fruits that sit on shelves because of their look, our approach was to reevaluate how these fruits are presented to the general public, and how to make them more attractive to buy. Taking advantage of the shape of a cube, the fruit is transformed into geometric desserts made from vegan-friendly gelatin or ice. From this point on, the business could develop in three different stages:
1. Commercialization of standardized boxes of flavors in local groceries
2. Delivery and catering of special orders
3. Creation of a franchise that fully customizes the orders with toppings
